Many students have provided very encouraging comments at the end-of-term evaluations, and here is a collection of comments. Listed below are student comments for just one course.

In Winter B 2025, I taught Financial Management and Policy, an OMBA level core course at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Here are some nice things my students said about this course.

1 Amazing lectures. Very thorough teaching guidelines. Easy to understand and follow guidelines.
2 The mega examples, the lectures, and learning how to create excel models for the problems was super helpful. I thought the instructions was great between Gautam and Qin. I look forward to taking FIN electives after this course.
3 I think your videos are 10/10 quality. The pace is slow if I need it and faster if I get it, but the conversational tone and Professor’s jovial nature really makes me fly through the content. The supporting slide decks are useful and I am grateful for the extra readings that come at the end of the module. Those readings are harder to get through, but they do really help solidify the content that our modules cover.
4 The videos were well done - and much better than having to read canvas pages.
5 Laying a strong and structured foundation in Financial Management, applicable to both personal and professional finance. Clarifying concepts instead of giving away merely formulas and templates to solve probelms.
6 I think the course was great overall, not much I can add to improve a course that I believe is formatted well.
7 The modules are a great way to present material in that it can be paused and rewatched. It was also excellently organized and clearly explained.
8 Clear expectations, easy to follow asynchronous modules, the course also builds on itself. The live sessions, and the group work also helped to solidify what I learned.
9 - Very clean and structured organization of course materials and assignments on Canvas; - No busy work assignments, straight to the point
10 ISS Peter was extremely helpful and accessible.
